Sungrow and Menlo Electric announce a memorandum of partnership to drive energy transformation in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, focusing on mitigating climate change and promoting renewable energy.
Munich, Germany [21st June, 2023] - Sungrow, the global leading inverter and energy storage system supplier, and Menlo Electric, the fastest-growing distributor of photovoltaics in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, are pleased to announce their strategic partnership to accelerate energy transformation.
As part of this collaboration, Menlo Electric commits to purchasing 2 GW of residential and C&I photovoltaic inverters produced by Sungrow by the end of 2027. In return, Sungrow will manufacture and deliver the required quantity of inverters with a total capacity of 2 GW to Menlo Electric.
The memorandum of partnership, guided by the shared principles of social responsibility and the vision of "Clean power for all" by Sungrow and "Energy to power your future" by Menlo Electric, signifies their commitment to driving positive change through renewable energy adoption. As a strategic partner, Sungrow has played a pivotal role in supporting Menlo Electric's installations in schools and childcare facilities in Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria, further solidifying their cooperation on corporate social responsibility initiatives.
