Manila, Philippines, 4 September, 2025 – Sungrow, the global leading PV inverter and energy storage system provider, successfully hosted its Southeast Asia new product launch in Manila, unveiling two flagship innovations: 1+X 2.0 Modular Inverter and PowerTitan 3.0 Energy Storage System (ESS). The milestone event underscores Sungrow’s commitment to empowering Southeast Asia’s clean energy transformation with cutting-edge technologies and sustainable solutions.
The newly launched 1+X 2.0 modular inverter delivers outstanding safety, flexibility, and cost efficiency, with advanced protection systems, AI-driven diagnostics, and simplified O&M that makes installation and maintenance faster and easier. With a unit capacity of 822 kW, its modular design ensures that even if one unit fails, the others continue operating, thereby reducing energy loss and enhancing system availability. Meanwhile, the PowerTitan 3.0 energy storage system combines higher energy density, smarter management, and superior performance, achieving industry-leading efficiency and reliability. Specifically designed to meet CAPEX requirements in the Philippine market, the system incorporates larger battery cells, improving round-trip efficiency (RTE) while lowering capital expenditure. In past experience, a prime example is the Philippine CITICORE 1.5 GWh project, where Sungrow’s PowerTitan 2.0 ESS enables surplus solar power to be stored and dispatched during peak demand, effectively reducing curtailment, enhancing renewable utilization, and stabilizing the grid while improving financial returns.
