Sungrow, in collaboration with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and the Deyang Management Branch of the Giant Panda National Park, has launched the "Sun Forest" project in Deyang, Sichuan.The project plans to plant 500 acres (about 33 hectares) of suitable trees and edible bamboo over a period of 5 years, rebuild life corridors and ecological restoration, and promote habitat restoration for giant pandas. Currently, 200 acres (about 13 hectares) have been planted and 10 wild animal breeding holes have been built.

Sungrow actively participates in community support and rural revitalization, donates to build Smart Classrooms, and carries out renewable energy courses to help children's growth and education. Sungrow also donates to the construction of village and elderly activity centers, caring for the physical and mental health of elderly people living alone in rural areas, and providing them with happiness and security in their old age.

Sungrow has established a three-level training framework, fully utilized online learning platforms, integrated and promoted various online and offline learning resources, and continued to carry out diversified training programs.

In 2023, the Research Institute's Innovation Promotion Project directly empowered 110 employees and indirectly empowered 2,640 employees, accounting for 47% of the research staff and 19% of the total employees.

This project supported patent layout, resulting in 39 patents and 14 patents in application or writing. Besides, this project assisted in cost reduction and efficiency enhancement: The highest value cost reduction plan saved amounts in the tens of millions. In 2023, the HR Center's "New Manager Transition Plan" project empowered 225 employees, accounting for 15% of managers and 1.64% of the total employees. This facilitated successful transitions for new managers in task delegation, management thinking, and cross-departmental communication. This project also produced the knowledge asset "New Manager 'Successful Four-Step' Onboarding Guide"; consolidated project operation SOP manual, summarized successful project experiences, and successfully replicated and promoted within business BUs.

Sungrow continues to create a diverse and inclusive work environment. As of the end of 2023, there were over 1280 overseas employees, and 1039 new female employees were recruited in 2023, accounting for nearly 20% of the total number of new employees (5793). The company continues to improve the global employee welfare system, providing employees with fair, diverse, and competitive non compensation benefits, comprehensively enhancing employee happiness, and providing 100% coverage for all employees through pension or other retirement plans. In 2023, the Company's paid parental leave for the primary caregiver was in total 34 weeks, and paid parental leave for the non-primary caregiver was 112 weeks in total. In 2023, the company introduced the "Trial Implementation Rules for Employee Interest Free Loan Benefits", which provides interest free loans for employees who purchase the only self-occupied commercial housing in their workplace city.

Sungrow attaches great importance to the health and safety of its employees, continuously increasing investment in safety management and facility protection. In 2023, Sungrow invested 56.23 million yuan in facility investment and operation in the field of safety. To ensure that employees receive the necessary safety knowledge and skill training, Sungrow provides a large number of communication and training activities for all employees every year, including new employee safety training, electrical safety, first aid, special equipment, environmental management, chemical safety, and hazardous waste disposal special courses required for onboarding.
